A few months ago, The AMPR girls and I took a company retreat to Palm Springs for some much needed R&R. But as usual we worked the whole time attending Palm Springs Fashion week and presenting 2017 goals to each other. Along the way we shot some content for the blog and made a furry friend named “Florence”
While staying at the beautiful Westin Mission Hills Golf resort and Spa, we stumbled upon this adorable and super friendly dog that was up for adoption.
The Westin and the Animal Samaritans entered into a dog adoption project launch in May 2015. They have assembled a dedicated team of associates to care for one hosted dog at a time until they find a permanent home.
We got the opportunity to take Florence for a walk (and take photos) and with in 5 minutes of meeting this furry guy I fell in love and seriously contemplated adoption. She had the best loving personality and very playful!
Unfortunately for me, but great news for Florence, when I returned her she had been approved for a new parent. Florence had such a beautiful story as she was a rescue from the most recent Louisiana floods this past August, which ironically I was there during that time but was not affected. Hearing this news made me feel I was meant to adopt her, but I am sure she is apart of a healthy and stable family now.
