Hello from Las Vegas!
My work brings me to Vegas for several reasons, which to be honest, I really don’t enjoy vegas too much anymore. Maybe it’s because I grew out of it, or one too many hangovers but it’s now a place that I usually dread. Between navigating between the casinos, or the ringing bells first thing in the am when all I want is a coffee, or maybe how dry the air is here. Either way, I try to minimize the stress by staying in the most convenient hotel that can get me back and forth to work the fastest and easiest.
With that being said, I also try to pre-prepare my outfits to be “work appropriate but also embrace the Vegas sass. Here are three Fashion work appropriate looks I put together:
Because it’s Vegas and I work in the fashion Industry I can be a little more playful. I kept it simple by bringing three mini skirts that I can pair multiple tops with depending on how I feel. This GUESS skirt has a GREAT Stretch to it. Since it is a mini skirt, I paired it with a more conservative top like the black turtleneck. But to add my own twist, the turtleneck is slightly sheer so depending on your work environment you could put a cami under it or even a bralette that adds the slightest sex appeal.
This next look was a hit, I guess its not every day you see someone wearing a metallic silver skirt. Again, since it was a mini skirt showing my legs I paired it with a button-down with gray pin stripes. I am a big fan of balance. So if the bottom part is more sexy and trendy, then pair it with something a little more conservative to polish it up.
I kept all the hues with white and gray. I guess you could say I am newly inspired by 50 shades darker. I Accessorized it with this GUESS all white leather jacket and my Charles David stretch ankle booties.
Last but not least, I gathered this from my closet with the hope to restyle it a different way. Help from my AMPR team we took what I usually style as a dress, and turned it into a dress shirt by tying a knot in the front and leaving the back to drape over yet another mini skirt. Popped it with some red lipstick to merchandise with my Charles David pumps.
It’s Day two at the MAGIC tradeshow convention. Follow my Instagram and my company page to see what were all up too in Vegas.
Headed to St Louis this weekend for another round of PBR-Stay tuned!
