Its been a minute since I have released a blog. I have been super busy running AMPR, it can be overwhelming sometimes to have your hands is so many jars, but I absolutely love it and would never have it any other way.
I am currently in Glendale Arizona for another round of PBR (Bull-Riding) We have the first event tonight. But I must say last weekend in New Mexico was crazy as I witnessed my first 95.25 score! From my humble perspective, scores usually range in the 80’s and I have often seen a few 90 point scores which are difficult to get. BUT a 95.25 is history making! It was done by bull rider Stormy Wing! It was jaw dropping!
Onto fashion now!-I teamed up with “Pura Vida Bracelets” for this post. Who doesn’t love a brand with a meaning behind it? I mean on the surface level, it gives us girls another reason to shop! But on a deeper level, to know that our small purchase can impact lives is incredible. Pura Vida was created to give back to different causes all over the world. They have partnered with over 190 different charities and have donated more than $935,358 to date!
“Pura Vida” means “pure life”, a Costa Rican philosophy that believed in slowing things down and appreciating the “little thing”and not take anything for granite.
“Pura Vida” means choosing to live life to the fullest. It’s more than just a saying… it’s a lifestyle.
Every Pura Vida Bracelet is carefully handcrafted by artisans in Costa Rica. Which has provided hundred and hundred of full-time jobs for these artisans.
Founders Griffin and Paul were traveling through Costa Rica when they crossed paths with with local artisans Jorge and Joaquin. Later both sides partnered and developed “Pura Vida” which is now worn my millions of people around the world as a sweet reminder to “Slow down and Live in the moment”
I know I need those tiny reminders from time to time. Having a busy schedule and living on the road can be a lot of wear and tear on my body, mind and soul. Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in the negative and stress of the opportunity that its hard to see the benefits and positives. But life is ALL about perspective and if you can just focus on the positive, learn to appreciate what you do have, and grow your patience…it will be THAT much better.
With that being said, I am taking my bracelets and bikini and going to hit the pool in Glendale Arizona right now to literally take in the beautiful sunshine (which I don’t get too often).
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!
